Adventure starts here — for boys and girls.
Troop 118 is a Family Troop: one troop where boys and girls camp, hike, lead, and grow together. If your kid is ready for real outdoor adventure, they belong here.
One troop. Every kid.
We're a Scouting America Family Troop chartered at Community Church of Davie since 1958. Boys and girls are full members of the same troop — one program, one calendar, one campfire. Scouts elect their own leaders, plan their own trips, and learn by doing.
What we do
Monthly campouts across South Florida — the Everglades, the Keys, and beyond.
Scouts run the troop. Adults coach from the back row.
Service projects that leave Davie better than we found it.
From first knot to Eagle Scout, at each kid's own pace.

Why parents choose Troop 118
Safety first
Trained, registered adult leaders, two-deep at every activity, with the supervision standards Scouting America requires for boys and girls.
A real program
Sixty-plus years of camping, leadership, and Eagle Scouts — not a screen in sight.
One family, one troop
Brothers and sisters in the same troop, on the same calendar, at the same campsite.
